Note :
A triumph from the difficult 2008 vintage in the Hunter. Verdelho proves once again that it can make great wine even under trying circumstances. The colour of very pale straw with youthful green tinges lead to a subdued nose with the characteristic talcum powder/sherbert aromas. Honeydew melon and passionfruit notes are also present. The natural grape sweetness adds a lovely balance to the lemony fresh acid finish. Drink now for its youthful exuberance but the wine will cellar for 1 or 2 years.

Note :
Pale straw with tinges of green. The bouquet of this wine exhibits lively tropical fruit aromas of guava, pineapple and passionfruit with underlying citrus and hints of gooseberry. Intense fresh fruit flavours continue on the palate and the long finish is balanced by fresh acidity. This wine is enjoyable now and with bottle age, it will develop further attractive flavour complexity. Cellaring up to 3 years.
