Kay Brothers Amery Shiraz 2005

Kemenys Price : $24.99
RRP :  $30.00
Kemenys Rating : 92/100
Value : ddddd

Tasting Note :

Deep ruby red. Dark cherry, blackberry, mint, white pepper, vanilla bean and carraway seed. A round and generous fleshy fruit palate
rich with plums, blackberry and mulberries, cedar, spices and truffle. A balanced, tight acidity together with soft integrated tannins shows good complexity and palate persistence. "The 2005 Amery Shiraz exhibits copious quantities of blackberry and black cherry fruit along with truffle, asphalt, with roasted meat characters showing in the background. It should evolve over the next 8 to 10 years."

Robert Paker, 01/02/2008]

Kemenys Price : $12.99
RRP  $21.00
Kemenys Rating   90/100

Tasting Note :

Maglieri shiraz on the nose is calm and relaxed, very engaging too. With ripe, jammy fruit and some spiciness in the bouquet. Superbly integrated and smooth on the palate, it is full-bodied with flavours of dried fruits and liquorice. This is a very complex wine which is already drinking well and will improve with short to mid-term cellaring.
