There are aromas of violet and apricot, chocolate and turkish delight, strawberry and spice, real comforting nuances of soft delicate wood and fresh herbal hints. On the palate are intense flavours of blackberries and spice, mellow tannins and a seamless flow between the fruitiness, the refreshing tang of acid, and the tannic structure of shiraz. The finish is long and flavoursome.

This wine has lifted complex aromas of spicy berry fruit, with smoky chocolate and savoury integrated oak complexity. The palate has a thick rich entry with mulberry and milk chocolate flavours. The structure is thick and rich, with a solid concentrated juicy blackberry and mulberry flavoured profile, a well integrated full palate with generous length of flavour. Drinking best up to 2014.

This wine has complex aromas of dark chocolate, rich spices and ripe raspberries plus vanilla bean and a touch of mint.  The palate    exhibits flavours of raspberry, black plum and kirsch combined with   toasted oak.  The wine is dense and complex; has long chewy tannins and a velvety intensity of flavours that show excellent persistence and length.                                                             

The 2006 Filsell is a deep ruby colour with intense bouquet of plums, cherries and ripe raspberries nestled alongside rich dark chocolate spices. The palate exhibits similar flavours of ripe raspberries, stewed plums and subtle blackberries with a hint of cinnamon spice and toasted oak. The wine is dense and complex with complimentary full rounded tannins and a velvety intensity of flavours that how excellent persistence and length.

The wine exudes a complex and intense nose with aromas of white pepper, mint and earthy characters with rich plums and hints of sage and thyme. The elegant palate shows complex layers of concentrated berry fruit with stewed plums, Christmas cake and mocha; nestled amongst the complex oak and a hint of leather. The elegant finish of this Iconic wine is complimented with fine grain tannins and lingering length. This stunning wine is Barossa Shiraz at its best, concentrated, big and bold, and will cellar for 20 years or more.

The opulent wine is dark red in colour with purple hues. The nose exhibits dense and rich fruit with blackberry, plum and cherry aromas. The palate is full and luscious with black cherry, raspberries and velvety chocolate flavours enhanced by toasty vanillin oak and grainy tannins. A wine with excellent weight, texture and persistence of flavour; drinking well now, and has a cellaring potential of ten years.

This wine is a deep red with crimson hue.  The aromas are of cigar   box and vibrant berry notes with the distinct eucalyptus overtones.    The palate is of eucalypt, savoury and coffee notes.  The structure   is dominated with gravely tannins and a great acid back bone that      gives definition to the extra long finish.  This wine will be near  its best after 5 years of careful cellaring.

This full bodied dry red is not one for the faint hearted. Its dark inky colour warns you that this is powerful stuff. Intense aromas of blueberry and blackberry fruits with fragrant raspberry notes are complexed by spice and cracked black pepper. These qualities are reflected on the palate, which again is intense. Rich and opulent, this wine has superb length and a rich spicy finish. Don't drink it with bland foods.

The 2005 Ingoldby shiraz is rich red with ruby hues. The nose has lifted aromas of dark berry fruit with hints of spicy oak. The palate is rich and smooth with fine tannins and flavours of raspberry and plums, supported by subtle oak.

Intense dark, brooding berries, dried herbs and spice are accompanied by rich fruit sweetness on the mid palate. Nuances of black olive, dried fruit and clove evolve with time in the glass, and are supported by well integrated and balanced oak tannins. This wine has only just started to display the additional notes of aged complexity brought about by careful bottle maturation. A soundly structured wine, well balanced with a long mocha oak finish.

The 2006 Jacobs Creek Reserve Shiraz is a full bodied wine displaying rich fruit flavours of dark berries and plums and velvety tannins. Lovely acid balance and integration of flavours result in a supple and engaging wine with a lingering finish of spice, chocolate and mocha. A true expression of Australian Shiraz, to be enjoyed now or which with careful cellaring will develop gracefully over the next ten years.
