Fresh, crisp, appropriately flavoured and attractive through the
finish. Tastes of passionfruit and grass, lemon and slate. Yes,
there is a bit of slateyness to this wine. And it gives it some
class. And it makes me say, for the first time in a few years, that
this wine deserves its reputation. I like the texture here too,
even though it's mostly about cut and thrust. Very good release.

Just the right amount of green grass and herbal character. Cut grass, some capsicum, a little flintiness and bright citrus scents. Tangy grapefruit, lime and gooseberry flavours with some fresh sherberty acid. serve with Vietnamese and seafood dishes.

Something different from Marlborough. Subdued grassiness. Full, fresh tropical fruits, gooseberries and jasmine aromas and... there's a dash of appealing sweatiness to boot. Flavours are full and lively. In addition, spot-on balance and length with a tight finish makes for a perfect match for rich seafood (such as paella).

The wine has intense lifted aromas of passionfruit, guava, lemon, green melon and a hint of snow pea. This is a tightly structured, delicate wine displaying an excellent balance of fruit and acid. The palate has tropical characters of passionfruit, melon, guava with subtle grassy overtones. The wine finishes with a crisp and refreshing minerally acidity.

Mouthfilling and deliciously dry, there are crisp tropical aromas with citrus, cut grass and even a touch of stonefruit. The flavours carry through the tropical tang, particularly passionfruit, complemented by lime, gooseberry and a zippy herbal lift. Punchy, tight and very refreshing with plenty of length.

Quite a feminine style. Restrained on the nose. Very subtle, grassy herbal notes showing through. A little bit of ripe stone fruit in the background. On the palate, that classic grassy note came through quite strong. A very herbal finish and it appeared very well with the herbal element of the dish. Very complementary to the food.

Beautiful structure, striking a a perfect balance of grassiness and ripe tropical fruit. Bursting with zippy green apple, gooseberry, mangoes and tangy passionfruit. Like a fruit salad with a big squeeze of lime juice. Sherberty acid and excellent length. Quite a powerful sauvignon which would be brilliant with spicier asian dishes.
