This wine has lifted aromas of violets, blueberries, raspberries with hints of apricot, white pepper and vanilla. The palate has a lovely rich mouth feel with the peachy, apricot characters coming through with the blue fruits. Fine but firm tannins, white pepper and briary spice balance the sweet fruit with a subtle hint of French oak giving biscuity vanilla finish.

Ruby red in colour with purple hues, this wine displays lifted aromas of red and black berries with hints of chocolate and cedar spice. The palate is medium bodied with a juicy entry which is underpinned by focused and fine grained tannin. The wine has cassis, choc mint and cigar box flavours and a lingering finish.

Tasting Note :

Two grape varieties and two different wine growing regions make a great marriage. Cabernet Franc from the Hills and Cabernet Sauvignon from the Barossa combine to make a vibrant wine with silky tannins and a great depth of palate. On the nose we have forest floor, and winter spices with hints of cedary oak. The palate shows soft, juicy red fruits and lingering richness. Beautiful drinking
now but it will get better but can you wait?

A blend of very old bush vines and dry grown fruit that suits that best shows the "Barossa" style. A rich blend of predominately Shiraz with small percentages of Grenache, Mataro and Cinsault. The nose gives you delightful dark berry fruits and cocoa aromas with hints of spice, star anise and bay leaves. The palate echos the nose with well structured peppery finish.

to finish, its weight coupled with (understated) power, depth and length. Ripe fig, blueberry and dark plum fruit flavours synergise to create an inky/dense palate with no rough edges. The oak, and plush tannins are at one with the wine, eliciting no one dominant feature and a seamless palate.

Rich vibrant dark cherry in colour, the nose is complex, it shows spice, leather, cinnamon, plum, and earthy, funky characters. As the wine opens there are hints of youthful oak, red berries, blackberries, dark cherries, porcini mushrooms, and mocha coffee. Red berries provide a sweet front palate, the mid to back palate has bitter cherries finishing with savoury notes.

The nose brims with sweet lifted fruit aromas, leafy cabernet characters and woody, almost earthy tones. The palate shows good weight with generous cabernet fruit, tobacco leaf and spice flavours. This is a lovely, even wine with long, dry tannins that flow right throughout the finish.

Lovely ripe blackcurrant fruit with some dusty and cedary oak notes come through in the bouquet. The palate is fine with ripe berry and dark currant fruit flavours, silky tannins and plenty of backbone and structure making this a medium to full bodied wine style. The finish is all sweet fruit with oak supporting the fruit. This wine drinks well now but will only mellow and age gracefully over the next ten years.

We are indeed in the lucky country with wines like this coming out from South Australia. A beautifully balanced full-bodied red from the Clare Valley featuring three classic grape varieties. Concentrated Cabernet fruit gives the the wine its initial power and structure, the Shiraz rounding out the middle palate and the Malbec finishing the wine with earthy mulberry fruit. A lovely wine now but it will cellar for a decade or more. Serve with a great steak.

The bouquet is highly floral with lively dark cherry and violets. A spicy rose petal-like infusion from the Touriga Nacional combines to complete the sensory experience. The palate is vibrant and fresh with an array of red berry fruits and spice with an underlying old world European earthiness. Finishing with soft yet assertive tannins.
