Crimson in colour with a purple hue. Aromas of lifted plum with
dried thyme and briary characters. A juicy palate entry of plum and raspberry developing into briary and brushy herbaceousness, finishing dry and long. The chalky tannins integrated with acidity draw the flavours through the palate.

Plenty of excellent merlot flavours from this medium-bodied beauty. Blueberries, blackberries and a little tangy redcurrant compete for attention, with a supporting cast of chocolate, green olive and a whisper of vanilla oak. Tannins are nice and chewy with a spurt of fresh acidity. Good gear.
