On the nose, the wine exhibits typical viognier aromatics of apricot, orange blossom and honeysuckle with lots of savoury notes from the marsanne, balanced by its mineral flinty characteristics. The grapes are picked reasonably ripe, hence the wine has soft acidity, but a rich opulent palate. Very much a wine to be consumed with food - anything from the sea.
