A ruby red wine with garnet reflections. The perfume is one of mature fruit accompanied by liquorice, black pepper and chocolate. To the palate it is concentrated, structured and dry. The tannin are sweet, it is harmonious and has a freshness which is sustained by a good acidity. This Amarone is a champion with good balance and firmness well known to the Castagnedi brothers.

The grapes all came from the vineyard Balifico and were harvested by hand. The wine has a vivid ruby red hue with a dark purple tinge. It is fine and elegant with a scent of blackberry and blueberry combined with a trace of cinnamon and boisee. The flavour is smooth and round with good structure with a very persisting aftertaste of red fruits.
