This is a wine of great intensity. It has distinctive black fruit flavours, spice and a hint of black olive. Subtle oak characters of coffee and cigar are also evident. The tannins are fine and elegant - a hallmark of the varietal. The palate is complex and fulfilling and lingers on the finish.
