A classic example of a great Cabernet with leafy notes sitting gracefully on top of cassis and a little clive complexity: rich yet fine on the palate, with fine-grained tannins; oak starting to integrate. From a great vintage in Margaret River. Drink now until 2020 with beef provencal.

This wine has a bright nose showing wild black berry fruits,  mulberries and rhubarb, supported by dried herbs such as oregano and rosemary.  Oak adds nutmeg, toffee and smoky aromas.  Wild black berry fruits persist on the palate and are well matched with long and fine tannins and savory oak flavours.  This wine is supported by layers of texture and elegance, offering generous fruit weight and length.  This wine will cellar well over the next 10 to 15 years.
