"Very dark and rich this smells much like a tray of mince pies with its spicy curranty aromas but also has cassis, cherry, leather, mint and vanilla oak too. It is sumptuous and quite complex. On the palate it is full bodied with cassis, dark chocolate, mint, spice, currant and leather flavours. There are plenty of mouth-coating powdery tannins and fairly low, yet balanced, acidity. The texture is good and the finish is long but it needs just a bit more freshness and liveliness."

A long growing season and perfect temperatures granted us beautiful cabernet fruit. Our 2005 vintage shows blackberry notes combined with hints of cedar and spice. It is a juicy cab with balanced tannins and a memorable finish to pair with food and share with friends.

The 2006 cabernet sauvignon has a deep rich crimson colour. It is an elegant medium-bodied style and displays aromas of red currant, dried herbs and has some dusty, earthy undertones. The juicy red berry fruits follow through to the palate, which is supple and savoury with fine, powdery tannins.
