Ravenshead Clare Valley Riesling 2008

Kemenys Price : $13.99
Kemenys Rating : 95/100
Value :

Tasting Note :
Ravenshead wines are sourced from those regions recognized for varietal excellence. With talc and lemon on the nose, the mid-palate displays fineness and purity coupled with lemon fruit flavours. Crisp, fresh, and dry, brimming with zesty lemon, lime and grapefruit flavours all wound around a core of tight mineral acidity. Great drinking as a fresh young white, but will take 5-7 years in the bottle for those who like a little more complexity in their rieslings.

Taylors Jaraman Clare Riesling 2008

Kemenys Price : $17.99
Kemenys Rating : 94/100
Value

Tasting Note :

"The Jaraman range follows the great tradition of multi-regional blending, combining two of the best regions of riesling: the Eden and Clare valleys. Match it with grilled white fish."

Taylors St Andrews Riesling 2005

Kemenys Price : $26.99
Kemenys Rating : 90/100
Value

Tasting Note :

A wine with substantial palate weight showing great depth and generosity of flavour. The palate is zesty with citrus flavours carried throughout and long after the wine has left the mouth. The structure is rich, full and long but the finish is soft and elegant. The wine is restrained yet generous and will reward further cellaring.

Tim Gramp Clare Valley Riesling 2008

Kemenys Price : $16.00
Kemenys Rating : 91/100
Value :

Tasting Note :

"A good regional style, more punchy and powerful than most Clare Valley types. The nose has a touch of tropical fruit salad to it, with crisp and tangy notes of apple and lime in the mix. It has plenty of ripe flavour, and the palate shows good depth and texture, with a firm, dry backbone. Drink over three years."
