Generous floral limes, with a full rich tropical fruit and citrus spiced mid palate. A supportive and lively mineral acidity provides the backbone and length, which will ensure that this wine will gracefully with careful with careful cellaring.

The wine has delicate floral citrus notes on the nose. Lemon, lime and hints of passion fruit are all here in abundance. The palate is focussed, pure and intense with delicious juicy lime fruit finish. Elegant and intense with a touch of minerality.

The wine has youthful fresh aromas of lime, rose petal, and musk. A slight tropical fruit character adds complexity to the citrus characters. On the palate this wine has abundant fresh flavours of lime, lemon and grapefruit with a delicate floral character carried throughout the palate. The wine has a crisp acidity which is balanced by lush fruit characters. The finish is long, clean and immensely enjoyable.

This wine has intense but delicate flavours, with aromas of lemon, grapefruit and orange blossom so typical of Eden Valley. These citrus characters carry through to the palate which also has hints of pineapple. The wine rounds up beautifully with crisp natural acidity, the flavours lingering. Great with Asian dishes or seafood.

The 2007 Eaglehawk Riesling is vibrant green-yellow in colour. The nose shows aromas of citrus and passionfruit, which develop into well-defined lime and floral flavours with well-balanced acid and a crisp and refreshing finish.

Flavours of lemon sherbet with granny smith apple and a touch of bay leaf are complemented by fresh lemony acid with a hint of chalkiness to frame the lingering fruit characters.

The bouquet is complex with fine, stoney fruits with a touch of mixed citrus fruits, pepper and smoke. The palate is powerful, plump, earthy and very ample. Great with baked fish and can be cellared for up to 10 years.
